Meet Your Therapist

De’Aires Cotton, M.A., LPC-A

Hi, my name is De’Aires Cotton! As a Black male therapist, I am deeply honored to specialize in working with people of color. I understand the unique challenges we face and how important it is to have a space where our stories can be shared, heard, and truly understood. If you're looking for a therapist who recognizes these experiences, I’m here to support you.

In addition to my therapy practice, I am a certified yoga instructor and incorporate mindfulness breathing techniques to help you relax, regulate your emotions, and increase your awareness of how you feel. These tools empower you to manage your emotional experiences and build resilience.

My approach focuses on helping you develop emotional awareness, so you can better understand your emotions and the reasons behind them. Through empathetic listening and practical tools, I work with you to build the skills necessary for emotional regulation, healing, and personal growth. Together, we’ll explore your strengths and support your journey in overcoming life’s challenges.

I am committed to guiding you on the path to healing past wounds and showing up as your best self. I look forward to being part of your growth and supporting you as you work towards your therapeutic goals.
