What is the purpose of a 15-minute consultation?

Finding a therapist is hard. It can be frustrating to spend hours, days and months searching for a counselor, only to end up with someone who may not be a good fit. During our 15-minute consultation, we will have an informal conversation about your needs + my experience. In short, we’ll see if we are a good match for each other.

Do you offer in-person and virtual therapy sessions?

Yes, I offer virtual therapy sessions for individuals across all of Texas. I offer both virtual and in-person sessions for clients residing in the Greater Austin area.

Do you accept health insurance and/or self-pay?

We are a self-pay practice and accept all major credit cards. At this time, our office does not accept health insurance. We believe everyone should have access to mental health resources. We may be able to provide sliding scale options, as well as provide you with additional resources and referrals.

What are your fees?

$125- 50 Minute Session (Individual Session)

$135- 60 Minute Session (Couples Session)

What is your cancellation policy?

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Before your appointment, you’ll receive a reminder email and/or reminder text message, ensuring you have adequate time to reschedule your appointment if necessary. Please remember to cancel or reschedule 24 hours in advance. You will be responsible for the entire fee if cancellation is less than 24 hours. This is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and is held exclusively for you.

How long does it take therapy to work?

There isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer to this question. Therapy is a deeply personal process that is tailored to your individual needs and goals. The duration and pace of your progress will depend on factors such as the specific challenges you're facing, your commitment to the process, and the unique circumstances that brought you to therapy. Each person's journey is different, and we'll work together to set realistic expectations based on your situation.

What age groups do you work with?

I primarily work with individuals and couples aged 18 and older. I do have a limited number of openings for clients between the ages of 15 and 17. If you're looking for therapy for a minor, I’d be happy to provide referrals to trusted colleagues.
